Sea Levels Expected To Rise
Sea levels along Sweden’s southern coastline are expected to rise by between 60 and 80 cm. Analysis has shown that extreme weather conditions are becoming more commonplace and an inevitable consequence of this will be new incidences of flooding. SGI, the Swedish National Geotechnical Institute, has published a plan of action aimed at predicting and preparing for emergency situations caused by climate change in Sweden.
